EOY Chorus PARTY

Let's celebrate a successful first year of the Furr Elementary Chorus this Monday after school! We'll have snacks and drinks for everyone to enjoy! Same time....same place! See you there :)

In-school Chorus Concerts

This Friday, June 1st, we're going to have two shows during school:

3rd - 5th: 12:30 - 1:00

PK - 2nd: 1:15 - 1:45

Please wear your chorus shirt THIS FRIDAY! You can wear shorts with it this time :)

Chorus Jam!

Who had fun at the chorus jam!?!? Great job everyone! I hope you enjoyed watching the other groups and singing with 150+ other kids! The combined songs sounded amazing! I had nothing but positive feedback from people. Already looking forward to next year!

Furr Concert Results

Wow!!!!!! Congrats Chorus members on a successful performance! I'm currently working on putting some videos together to post online. I'll let you know when they're up! Again, great job everyone. I had as much fun as you did!

Performance Details!

Ok, here are the details for our two shows:

First, please remember that we have a dress-rehearsal this Thursday after school until about 3:00! Please note the ending time change.

Both shows are slated to start at 7pm. Please be at Furr this Thursday night NO LATER than 6:30! We'll meet in the cafeteria.

Next week, please be at JM Robinson on Wednesday night NO LATER than 6:30!

Please wear your chorus t-shirt and jeans at BOTH shows! In fact, let's all wear our shirts at school on the day of both shows. This Thursday and next Wednesday!

Our show at Furr should last for 20 minutes. The Chorus Jam at Robinson will be more like an hour because of multiple performances and the nature of the show.

Rehearsal Update

Thanks to all the parents and students for the recent questions about our rehearsal schedule! Next Monday (the 14th) we WILL NOT have rehearsal. EOG's start up that day and I don't want to keep anyone at school longer than usual! However, we DO have a concert Thursday of next week after EOG's are over! So I'd like to schedule a dress-rehearsal for Thursday (the 17th) after school until 3:00! So everyone please mark your calendars! This will give us enough time to run the show once and get chorus members up on stage in the right spots.
